Meet Barbara J. Reichlin, MA, LMFT, LPC

   Barbara J. Reichlin, a therapist for over 35 years, began working with couples in 1984 as a marriage and family therapist at the Texas Research Institute of Mental Sciences (TRIMS).  In 1990, she completed training in Imago Relationship Therapy, and in 1994 was personally trained and certified by Dr. Harville Hendrix, as an Advanced Imago Therapy Clinician and Certified Workshp Presenter.

Before entering full time private practice in 1982, Ms. Reichlin was a Staff Psychologist for nine years at TRIMS in the Houston Medical Center. There, she founded and directed the Human Sexuality Training Program and was a faculty member of the Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, Gerontology and Psychiatry Residency training programs.

     Barbara, in her second marriage, has been with her husband, Dr. Robert Reichlin, for 32 years. Dr. Reichlin, who specializes in geropsychology, (and who, in the opinion of Barbara, is one of Houston's finest therapists and the finest geropsychologist in Houston,) and Barbara, office together in Bellaire, Tx. They are extremely proud of their daughter, 21, a student at UCLA, and Barbara's son and his lovely wife, who recently blessed them with twin grandbabies!

     Barbara is an inspiring, compassionate presenter who is skilled at creating a safe environment for participants. She is past President of the Houston Area Association for Imago Relationship Therapists.
